Help! My iPad is broken!

If your iPad has any of the following symptoms below:

  • bent
  • display is broken
  • charging port is jammed or stuck
  • power button is smashed in
  • home button not working
  • iPad shows signs of power but no display
  • display does not respond to touch
  • display is moving on its own
  • or any other physical damage/isue

You can use the AppleCare+ insurance to cover the repair/replacement.

The cost to have your device repaired is $49 (IF DAMAGED). The technology department can email you a link to make payment, then a replacement can be received in the Tech Office in the Academic Center.

Before coming into the tech office in the Academic Center please make sure to do the following steps below first:

1. Back up your device using iCloud - the link can be found here

2. Verify that your Google Photos are backed-up to your CCHS Dons Google Account - the link can be found here

3. Verify that your Notability is backed-up to iCloud & Google Drive - the link can be found here

4. Make sure to turn off "Find My" - the link can be found here

Once all these steps are done, stop by the tech office so that we can evaluate your iPad and verify whether or not payment is needed.
